Playing Kit

Gum shields and shin guards MUST be worn for all training sessions and matches and a left-hand astro glove is recommended.

Training
For our junior members, normal PE kit is fine for training, but please ensure children are dressed for the weather.

Trainers must be clean, and gloves are useful in wintertime.

Long hair should be tied back and water bottles brought to each session.

For new junior members sticks will be provided.

Bibs
All players will be allocated a numbered reversible bib, which they must bring to all training sessions. It is each player’s responsibility to look after the bib and return it to any of our coaches should they leave the club. Should any player lose their bib, they will be charged £5 for a replacement.

Matches
Our playing strips are navy or white tops, navy shorts/skorts and red or white socks.

Kelso Hockey Club will provide playing tops at all times members are representing them, in either friendly or league matches, but all club members are expected to have their own red socks and navy shorts/skorts.

Those who play in the adults' 1s, 2s and 3s must also have white socks. Should an adult member wish to buy their own playing top, they should consult with Mary Weir.
