Edinburgh opposition prove too strong

Kelso travelled up to Meggetland for this encounter and soon found out why their opponents were at the top of their half of the draw. A very skilful side who played an extremely well drilled game of hockey, moving the ball efficiently and quickly and creating lots of goal scoring opportunities.

Ice packs were handed out at an alarming rate to Kelso players and injuries to Freya, Scarlett and Isla kept them off the pitch, not helping our cause but the rest of the team gave of their best and special mention to Rachel who came back into centre defence from her normal position of left striker and did a sterling job. Cerys had some great saves and did well to stop more going in but was unable to prevent nine goals hitting the back of the net and giving EHC a comfortable win.
