Both Fraser and Rachel are representing their country this weekend at the UK School Games 2026, being held at Loughborough University from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 September.

Alongside former Kelso HC youth players Toby Anderson and Kay Sinton, Fraser and Rachel have been selected to compete for Scotland in one of the most prestigious multi-sport events on the youth sporting calendar.

All four South of Scotland players have successfully progressed through District and Scottish Hockey BRAVE Academy hockey programmes culminating in participating in this year’s Scottish Hockey BRAVE Cup 2026, from where they were selected for the UK School Games 2026 squads.

Pitch side will also be Janet Jack, Lead Coach at Scottish Hockey’s BRAVE Academy South Hub, who will be coaching and leading the Scotland Under-18 Girls' squad throughout the tournament.

Both the Scotland U18 Boys' and Girls' squads will face England, Wales and Ulster across the weekend, with six matches in total taking place.

- Scotland Boys vs Wales — 11:00 on Friday 4 September
- Scotland Girls vs Wales — 16:30 on Friday 4 September
- Scotland Boys vs England — 13:30 on Saturday 5 September
- Scotland Girls vs England — 16:30 on Saturday 5 September
- Scotland Boys vs Ulster — 12:00 on Sunday 6 September
