Away to Lasswade, Kelso 3s started well and had the majority of the possession in the first quarter but it took several penalty corners before Kelso were able to convert one to take the lead going into half time. A strong strike from Beth Thomson on the left was nicely deflected by Jenny Thomson into the back of the net leaving the Eskvale Keeper no chance.
In the second half, more aggressive play in the circle by Antonia Nicod-Rogerson produced a second goal, but following the restart Kelso gave the ball away down the right hand side and Eskvale immediately capitalised by moving the ball quickly down the middle cutting through the defence to leave only the Kelso keeper to beat. Caitlin Butler did really well to save the first shot, but the rebound was fired into the goal by the home side. Continuing to dominate possession, Kelso were rewarded with a third goal from Robyn Ford following a great strike at a penalty corner to leave the final score at 3-1 in their favour.
