On a very wet morning in Edinburgh, the Typhoons took on Grange Tigers and although we had more possession, found it hard to convert pressure into goals. We were able to win several running penalties, however and converted three through Isla Aitchison, Ellie Gibb and Emma Patterson and this resulted in a 3-1 win.

The Typhoons second game was against Inverleith Gorillas and we went two goals up fairly quickly and so then took a player in turn off, as they were playing short. This didn’t seem to make much difference and with some great play up the right from Evie Leonard, scored three more to make the final score 5-0.
