The U12s continued their East league campaign on a cold, wet and windy morning in Edinburgh on Sunday.
The Kings are enjoying the challenge in division A and won both of their games against Inverleith Salamanders and Cala White in closely fought games.
The Cougars started off the morning with a nice win over ESM Alligators with some great attacking work upfront. Their second game against Grange Jaguars was much tougher, lots of goals scored by both teams, with Grange taking the victory.
The Comets adjusted well to a few changes in their team this week. An extremely close and end to end game against Watsonians Wombats saw the Edinburgh side sneak the win, but Kelso stepped up a gear against ESM Stingrays to take a narrow win in another close game.
The Coyotes played well against ESM Piranhas edging the win with good defensive play and passing, but just couldn't score against strong Watsonians Wallabies in their second game, losing out to them in the last game of the morning.
Overall a great morning of hockey - well done, teams! And very well done and thanks to Cam, Sophia and Rose for stepping up from U10s to help out the Coyotes this week.
As always, many thanks to our parent helpers Lynsey, Tom, Steve and Karen for help with teams and first aid.
