Our U12s finished off their East league campaign on a high yesterday with some great performances and convincing wins. Overall this has been a hugely positive season for our players, with 3 out of our 4 teams stepping up a division for the second term's round of fixtures.
The Kings have definitely been challenged more this term in division A, and yesterday's battle against Grange was a fine example of this. They were put under pressure immediately by Grange's forward force but continued to work hard to keep the scoreline down as much as possible. They played some fine passing hockey in their second game against ESM to finish off the season with a win.
The Cougars have also enjoyed the step up into a new division (B) and have had lots of very close games as well as a couple of enormous wins and one heavy loss. Yesterday saw them win over Eskvale A and draw in a very close match against Inverleith Iguanas. They should be very pleased with their performances and with how much they have progressed throughout the season.
The Comets scored 10 goals yesterday giving them two good wins over Grange Leopards and Cala Blue. These were great outcomes and the result of great team effort to push forward in attack. Very well done to you all and for the work to improve skills and gameplay throughout the season.
The Coyotes stepped up to division E this term and initially found it difficult against some tougher opposition. However, the last 4 fixtures have seen them winning 4 and drawing 1 out of 8 games which is a great achievement. Yesterday saw them breaking through Eskvale B's defence to score 4 goals in their first game. Unfortunately, Inverleith Gecko's attack provided too strong for them in their second game, resulting in one win and one loss.

Thank you to Sophia, Rose and Cam for stepping in to help, when required, and to ALL our parent volunteers who help us manage the four teams each week. We have had 36 players participating in league teams and credit must go to all parents for the commitment to the early Sunday morning starts!
We look forward to next term's club summer festivals and tournaments and to next year's East league.
