We had a great morning with the U10s at Kelso for the first East festival of 2024. It was great to be back in action after the bad weather call offs last term.

Teams from Inverleith (Edinburgh), EHC (Edinburgh) and Fidra (North Berwick) joined our six Kelso teams. A huge well done goes to ALL players for their hard work, skills, enthusiasm and teamwork. The scorelines showed a mixture of wins, draws and losses for our Kelso teams with some extremely close games, proving that the competition was well matched.

It was a massive team effort to run the festival. Thanks to our lovely young umpires Robyn, Ailsa, Ellie, Annika, Iona, Antonia and Caitlin who did a fantastic job keeping the players safe and the games flowing. Our parent helpers on the pitch, Louise, Lesley, Joanne, Debbie, Catherine, Stuart, Ian, Michael and Steve looked after the teams fabulously, giving them lots of encouragement and getting them organised. Our army of volunteers served teas, coffees and homebaking to our players and spectators - Bec, Karen, Karen, Jade, Ali, Gemma, Lesley, Laura and Louise. Mary worked out the draw and Emma and Lynn were brilliant support on the pitch, organising and keeping everything flowing. THANK YOU VERY MUCH EVERYONE!
