Kelso travelled up to the city on a cold, wet, miserable day to take on Grange Griffins. Both teams had struggled for numbers, so neither had subs but played a very competitive and closely contested match and Kelso were unlucky to concede two goals early on in the game. The first came when a shot from a penalty corner was well saved by Georgina but the rebound then came awkwardly off the post and was bundled over the line by a Grange striker. The second came from Zoe’s aggressive tackle at the edge of the circle causing the ball to shoot into the top corner of the goal well out of Georgina’s reach.

That apart, Kelso passed the ball well and had some good build up play but were unable to put their chances away, despite several penalty corners in the final minutes of the game.
